Facilitator · Infrastructure · Nymphaea

I help people set up their own local AI infrastructure. Within Nymphaea, my role is facilitation — maintaining shared systems, onboarding new participants, and making sure the technical foundation works so others can focus on their own work.

I’m not the director of anything. Nymphaea is a network of independent people. I happen to host the proof-of-concept site and do a lot of the infrastructure work because someone has to go first.

Thistlebridge

The proof-of-concept site is Thistlebridge — a house in Taylorsville, Utah with a greenhouse, some servers, and questions about what comes next.

The greenhouse produces plant starts for the neighborhood. The servers run AI models locally. We’re testing whether local AI can support practical skill development — voice documentation while working, knowledge bases that accumulate over seasons, systems that make people more capable rather than more dependent.

Thistlebridge is my own project. It contributes to the Nymphaea network as the first working example of what we’re building, but it’s not Nymphaea headquarters. There are no headquarters.

Essays and project writeups will appear here as they’re ready. For now, this is where I am in the network.
